How to configure the capture hot key
Configuring the capture hot key will allow you to hit a combination of keys to bring up the screen capture tool. If you want to learn more about it, click here - otherwise, just follow these instructions to set it up.
Open up Clarify's preferences
Set the hot key
You can enter a different combination of keys to trigger the screen capture tool. Just click in the text field and type the key or click on an alternate checkbox to change the modifier keys.

@Kathy - Yes you can. These instructions work for Windows 7.

Then, I do not understand how the hot key works. I have Clarify open, I navigate to the screen I want to capture, I press the hot key (ctrl+shift) and nothing happens. Please let me know what I am doing wrong. Thanks!

@Kathy - You need to enter an additional key to press along with ctrl + shift. For example, the '2' key on your keyboard. That would make the hot key 2 + ctrl + shift. Try that.
