    • Download Clarify using a different browser
    • Follow the instructions below

  • After you have uploaded a document to Clarify-it.com you can copy HTML to embed in other websites, blogging platforms or content management systems.

An example of this would be copying and pasting HTML into a WordPress post.

    How this works:

The most complicated part of adding images to web pages is uploading the images. Different web applications have different ways of doing this. Some web apps make this incredibly painful, some do a decent job of it, and others don't let you upload images at all.

Clarify uploads your images to Clarify-it.com and gives you back formatted HTML that you can insert into any web application that will accept HTML. By using Clarify-it.com you are able to easily insert images into any web application, regardless of how good or bad their process is for uploading and inserting images.

Make sure that you have shared the document to Clarify-it.com.

    Use Clarify with Evernote

Evernote is a great application for storing all of the "stuff" you need to remember. And Clarify is a great tool for capturing stuff that you need to remember. Here is how to combine the two.

Note: If you purchased Clarify through the Mac App Store then Evernote export will not work. Please follow the directions in this article to get the latest version of Clarify.

  • One method of exporting a document is to place it on the system clipboard. This allows you to paste the document into other applications.

Clarify allows you to copy a document to the clipboard in two formats:

    1. Rich Text
    2. PDF

When copying the document as Rich Text, the document is placed on the clipboard in a format that you can paste into word processing applications like Apple Pages or Microsoft Word as well as Email clients such as Apple Mail and Microsoft Outlook.

When copying the document as PDF the path to a PDF file is placed on the clipboard. You can then paste that path into Open File dialogs.

The other lessons in this chapter provide examples and tips on using the content that Clarify places on the clipboard.
