How to share a document online

You can share Clarify documents online using the free Clarify-it.com hosting service or Dropbox. For instructions on configuring a Dropbox account please follow these instructions.

Select Share

If you haven't already created a Clarify-it.com account you will be prompted to created one.

Once the document is uploaded a URL to the document will be placed on your system clipboard.

If you would like to view the page right away click the Visit button in the Notification Center message that appears.

We'd really like the option to store files on our server vs your server.

And we'd like the option to have our own styles for the document; as we do in ScreenSteps.

Did not see how to set up account .. kept getting a an error when I tried to up load . Finally went to preferences and got to set up account . THere are no instructions .. that I saw .. showing how to set up account ... FYI .

@Duncan: What error did you see when you tried to upload? If no Clarify-it.com account is configured then Clarify is supposed to prompt you to create one. It will then walk you through the process.

To *refresh* web content just click the toolbar share button again. It's not immediately obvious before the fact - I tried lots of things that didn't work before stumbling on the answer - suggest adding an extra step to the above to make this fact plain. Saving the Clarify doc doesn't affect web output, just the local doc.
