Capture tools are simple and straight forward.

1. Create a step without an image
2. Capture a new image and add it as a new step in the document
3. Replace a captured image in the document.

Before getting too far in the application you will probably want to set up your screen capture hot key.

You can easily select steps and reorder them from the left.

This can be handy if you want to add an arrow or text annotation outside of the image.

Drag one side to only add padding to that side. Hold down option key to add the same padding to all sides.

Show settings for the step by clicking the step inspector (1).

Have your media appear above or below your paragraph text (2).

Add a frame or border to your exported picture (3).

Click the Share icon to share to your document via the web, PDF or Evernote.
